Drama Art Group "United in Christ"
The drama group has existed since the beginning of our church in 1981. Our goal is to evangelize through drama.
The major event is the Holy Week drama, "The Life, Passion, Death, Resurrection and Ascension of our Lord Jesus Christ." It is performed on the outside stage of the church.
About 80 people make up the cast. This includes members of our congregation as well as members of other churches.
The drama is presented two weeks prior to Holy Week. The director is Mrs. Trinidad Hernandez.Our next presentations for the Holy Week will be held at the church outside facilities on March 28-29 and April 4-5 of 2009.
Couple's Group
This group consists of the majority of the couples of our congregation.
The goals are sharing, fellowship, improving relationships within couples, and keeping a healthy spiritual life in the family.
The group provides a variety of programs such as conferences, presentations, discussions, information, and devotional and social events likes dinners, trips, etc.
The meetings are the third Saturday of each month. The group meets regularly at members’ homes. Various couples conduct the programs.
The leaders are Miguel and Maria Albarracin, husband and wife.
Association of Presbyterian Women
All of the women of the congregation belong to this ministry. Their work is developed in many differents ways. The women are active in every activity of the church.
A sewing circle meets every Thursday to make quilts to give to the elderly during the Parrandas in Christmas.
The Young-Adult Organization
This organization consists of young-adults (25-40years old) from the congregation, both singles and married.
They regulary meet the second Saturday of each month for movie discussions, Bible Study, conferences, trips, picnics, etc. They also meet during during special occasions such as sporting games and community events.
